Content guide (subject to modifications)
Please note that this is not a fan fiction site. All stories must
contain original content* only. Submissions remain the property
of the story's author. Posting of said story onto the Chrysalis
forum grants Chrysalis the non-exclusive right to promote or
repost across the Chrysalis website and forums.
*reposts from other sources is okay, as long as you are the
original author.
Short stories
10,000 words or less, anything larger should be in one of
the other categories.
Novelette, novella, novel
Anything over 10,000 words. Please, please please - keep
all the posts pertaining to the same story in the same thread.
Do not spam the forum by making a new thread for each
chapter. It will be deleted. You have been warned.
Make sure your submission has been checked for spelling
and proper grammar. There are aids for this in the Writer's
Toolkit, if you're not sure how to go about it. Submissions
that are seriously lacking in the above will be deleted.
Important: Keep a copy of your work on your computer,
and another media, such as a usb drive. There is no
guarantee that your work will be here forever, and the
forum will be updated in the future - I don't know what
effect that will have exactly.
